This outfit is one of my favorites ever. You know when you put something on and you feel just as good in it at 7:00pm as you did at 7:00am? Yep, that was this outfit. I felt comfortable but stylish, on trend but no too trendy. And it just kind of happened. I knew I wanted to wear this skirt because I'd been dying to since I bought it a few weeks back and the weather was finally coolish enough to wear it (I'm saying "ish" because it's not really cool here yet but it wasn't 90, so...). Next I chose the short sleeved black sweater because it flowed over the top of the skirt nicely and I'd seen something similar in a magazine (yes, bloggers have to have inspiration sometimes too!). I went through several button downs until I decided on this plaid one. The length, fit and colors were just right. For accessories I piled on the pearl necklaces and made them collar length to add interest and then tossed on my trusty wear-them-with-everything leopard wedges. Wearing leopard wedges with a red, green and cream plaid shirt and a faux leather skirt just felt right. Of course wearing leopard always feels right! And so does wearing faux leather I'm quickly finding out!
