Color Blocking ~ Pink and Orange

No one was happier than me when bright colors, unexpected color combinations and color blocking hit the fashion scene! I adore color! I'm the kind of girl that could spend hours playing with a color-wheel trying out different ways to mix and pair color. Pink and orange is my favorite color combo right now. Maybe because it's bright and happy, maybe because it breaks a few of those old fashion rules, maybe because I won't wear orange with blue (it's a football thing y'all!), or maybe because it's unexpected and I like the unexpected as far as fashion goes. Maybe it's all of the above!

I found this skirt on a major clearance at Old Navy about six months ago. I love the tiny pleats, bright pink color and the flowey fabric. I have worn it with several different tops but when I found this orange blouse I knew it was a match made in fashion heaven! The pink necklace is the perfect complement to the outfit and keeps the color blocking theme going. I kept the rest of my accessories neutral (yep, leopard is considered a neutral in the fashion world) because too much of a good thing is just too much!
