June is almost over, y'all!  Can you believe it?!  With the end of June comes that start of July (duh, right?) and with the start of July comes one of my favorite holiday's ~ Independence Day!  What's not to love about the Fourth of July?!  A day off of work that's full of family, friends, food, fireworks, fashion and celebrating our freedom!  Independence Day is not only one of my favorite holidays to celebrate but it's also one of my favorite days to get dressed in a fun, festive outfit.  My whole family comes to town and our day usually involves a lot of outdoor time, and in Georgia it's HOT in July, so my Fourth style usually involves shorts and a cute top or a breezy dress.  I've not decided yet what this years' outfit will be but here are a few ideas to give me ~ and you ~ some Independence Day outfit inspiration!

Camo ~ Another Neutral ~ Another Staple

I'm as girly of a girl as you can get but I love camo!  When camo became a hot trend a few years ago I jumped on it hard ~ from tops to jeans and joggers ~ my camo collection is pretty extensive!  I'm glad it's a trend that stuck around.  I'm also glad that camo, like leopard, is considered a neutral and pairs well with most colors, especially brights.  Everyone knows that a denim vest is a closet staple (and if this fact is new to you stop what you are doing, click on the link and get one now!) but I think a camo vest should be as well.  It's a great, versatile completer piece that can be worn year round!

Excuse the face.  I was focusing hard on crossing the street, coffee in hand! ha!

 ~ What I'm Wearing ~

Orange/Coral Maxi: Old Navy (last year) | Current season here (I love the hem!!)
Camo Vest: Scored at a "bloggers' closet" sale | Identical
Tan Leather Tote: Another closet staple and I've had this one for years! | LOVE this one and the price is amazing!
Wedges: I've had these for years too! | This fab pair is at the TOP of my summer wish list and they just went on sale!
Fringe Necklace: Stella & Dot
Sunnies: Quay Australia

Sorry that this post is a day late!  My weekend was INSANE (all good, lot's of family time, but so very busy celebrating my son's birthday and father's day) and every Monday after work I meet my blogger friend, Hannah, to shoot pics for the coming week, so I'm a bit behind!  Better late than never, right?

Throwback Thursday ~ LBJ

Earlier this week I was going through the un-blogged picture files on my computer and found these from last summer.  For some reason they never made it to the blog even though this is one of my very favorite outfits so I decided to post them now!  Better late than never!  I mean there is a "Throwback Thursday" for a reason, y'all! ;-)

I love little black jumpsuits or LBJ's.  They are a great alternative to the little black dress or LBD's.  I think both have a place in your closet as wardrobe staples!  I styled this particular jumpsuit for a date night, with floral sandals, a fab clutch and bling!

~ What I'm Wearing ~
Little Black Jumpsuit: Piperlime (SO sad Piperlime is no longer!!) | Obsessed with this one and I need this one in my life! So on trend!
Black and White Printed Clutch: Urban Expressions | Similar
Floral Lace-up Sandals: Steve Madden | This season's version
Necklace and Earrings: Stella & Dot (retired) | This necklace and these earrings are some of my current favorites! Perfect for summer!
Bracelets: Stella & Dot | BangleCrystalCuff
Sunnies: Coach (old) | Similar

What do you think about jumpsuits?  Have they replaced the LBD in your wardrobe?  It's hard to believe that my hair was so much shorter last summer ~ and my body was much thinner! I'm loving my now longer hair but I've got to work on getting back the thinner body! ;-)

Color Loving Girl!

I'm all about an all black, white or neutral outfit but I'm a color loving girl at heart and for me the more color the better!  So when this dress hit my styling room a few months back I knew it had to be part of my personal wardrobe.  It has all of my favorite colors in a universally flattering A-line shape AND it has pockets!  I will definitely be styling this bold number several ways this season and I think it will transition well into fall with some knee-hi boots and a leather or denim jacket!

~ What I'm Wearing ~

"Kaleidoscope" Dress: Entourage Clothing (Sold Out | Similar hereherehere and here)
Hot Pink Crossbody Bag: Steve Madden (Old | Obsessed with this one!)
White Faux Leather Vest: Forever 21 (Last Year | Similar)
Multi Colored Beaded Necklace: Stella & Dot
White Leather Wrap Bracelet: Stella & Dot
Pink Wedge Sandals: Jessica Simpson (Old | Similar)

Color makes me happy, can you tell? ;-)

Travel Style with Agora Vintage

Today is part two of my collaboration with my favorite vintage shop, Agora Vintage, and my blogger friend, Hannah Betzel.  Earlier this week Hannah and I shared our wedding looks, styled with fabulous vintage and designer finds from our recent trip to Agora and today we are sharing what we'd wear for travel.  Summer travel for me can mean many different things... our annual beach trip with my family, flying up to Pittsburgh to visit my parents, business travel, girl's weekends with my bestie and mini getaways with The Hubs.  My travel uniform for all of these occasions is pretty much the same... comfy jeans, a lightweight long-sleeved top, wedges or flats that are easy to take on and off, a cross-body bag for my essentials and a roomy tote.  Of course no outfit would be complete without fun jewelry and fab sunnies!

~ What I'm Wearing ~

Theory Tunic: Agora Vintage
Kick Flare Jeans (They are a HOT trend this season!): Gap
Chloe Wedges (OBSESSED!!): Agora Vintage
Aviators: Stella & Dot
Glass Beaded Necklace: Agora Vintage (Similar)

Tory Burch Tote (It's SO roomy!!): Agora Vintage

What's your travel uniform?  Do you switch it up depending on the travel occasion or have a tried and true go-to like I do?  Make sure to hop on over to Hannah's Blog to check out her travel style!  It's fabulous!

For any questions about the items from Agora Vintage, call them at 706-255-2623 and tell them I sent you! Oh, and they do layaway!

Blogging Break Over! Wedding Style with Agora Vintage

Well, after a six month blogging break I'm FINALLY back with a new post!  I've missed you all and missed the blog so it feels really great to be back!  What better way to return to regular posting than with a collaboration with my favorite vintage shop, Agora Vintage!  My friend, artist and fellow Athens blogger, Hannah Betzel, and I spent a recent Saturday morning styling outfits from Agora's fabulous inventory of vintage and classic clothes, bags, shoes and accessories to share with you all.  What I thought was going to take an hour or so took several because we had the hardest time trying to narrow down our choices!  Agora is vintage and designer heaven!!  We decided to each pull two looks that are appropriate for occasions many of us have this time of the year ~ a wedding look and a travel look.  Today I'm sharing my wedding look and Thursday I'll be back (yay!) with my travel look.

A swingy black and white polkadot midi dress, classic pearls with a twist, patent lace-up sandals and pops of red in the bag and lip make for a perfect wedding outfit that would work for just about any summer wedding from morning to evening.

New Beginnings and a Little Blogging Break

Back in November I was given the opportunity to turn my life long passion for fashion into a full-time career and I took a job as the Corporate/Head Stylist for Entourage Clothing.  It's really been a dream come true!  I wake up every morning and can't believe I finally get to make a living doing what I love.  But along with this dream job has come long hours and not much time for other passions ~ like my blog.  I never intended to take a two and a half month blogging break ~ it just happened with the busyness of my new schedule.  Thank you for hanging in there as I figure out balance and get back to a regular blogging schedule.  Until then, please follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (mzsavvystyle) where I share OOTD's and snaps of my day!  And make sure to check out my Shop Page where I've added some of my favorite clothes, accessories, beauty products and other finds I'm loving for the spring!  I'll be adding new items several times a week!
