Shades of Green and Turquoise and a Little Bit of Jamaica

I took the past week and a half off of my blog because I was on a mission trip to Jamaica with my youngest daughter's senior class. What an amazing (and challenging) time we had! The Jamaican people are so kind, the food is yummy and the weather is extremely warm! We worked with a school in Trenchtown (Bob Marley's hometown) for three of our days there, with three different children's homes (orphanages) and a senior citizen home. I was blessed by just being able to spend time with the children and people of Jamaica and learning about their culture!

Long before emerald was Pantone's color of the year green was my favorite color. I love green in any shade, from sea-foam and mint to kelly and emerald. Turquoise is kind of on the line between blue and green and pairs nicely with any other shade of green. With yesterday being St. Patrick's Day and me being the Irish girl I am I was more than happy to layer on the green! And yes, after taking these pictures I realized that in my last post before Jamaica I was wearing leopard and green, just in reverse. It's definitely one of my favorite combos if you can't tell!!

Do you love green as much as I do or us it just an Irish girl thing? What's your favorite shade?

Have a savvy and stylish start to you week!

Sorry, I am new to the commenting world. Trying again...Love the green pumps! I would like to add more pumps to my shoe "collection". Are you able to wear yours for the whole day? I also love that you were able to go with your daughter on a mission trip. Very cool.

Thank you, Ladies! Rowdy Ramblings, I wear heels most days, all day, but the comfort level depends on the actual shoe. I carry Kushey Foot flats in my bag just in case!
