I tried something new in the way of swimsuit cover-ups at the beach this year. Instead of wearing an oversize button-down shirt or a purchased beach cover-up like I usually do I decided to make use of some of my larger scarves by turning them into sarongs. It's easy to do and it gave me several options to go along with my different swimsuits. This fun zebra print scarf looked cute with my black top and black and white striped bottoms!

Even with a high SPF sunscreen my face gets too much sun if I don't keep it shaded with a ball cap. It's not the most stylish thing to wear but I learned a loooooong time ago that tanning your face does nothing but age you and ain't no body got time for that! |

This Turkish Towel came in June's Pop Sugar Must Have Box and was perfect to throw in my beach tote. I'm really into neon for my nails and toes this summer.
