I tried something new in the way of swimsuit cover-ups at the beach this year. Instead of wearing an oversize button-down shirt or a purchased beach cover-up like I usually do I decided to make use of some of my larger scarves by turning them into sarongs. It's easy to do and it gave me several options to go along with my different swimsuits. This fun zebra print scarf looked cute with my black top and black and white striped bottoms!
What I'm Wearing ~ Zebra Scarf Worn As A Sarong: Happy Scarf (sold out ~ similar here and I just bought this gorgeous scarf on sale from Stella & Dot) Swim Suit: Old Navy (top and bottoms) Flip Flops: Coach Straw Beach Tote: Plato's Closet (similar) Sunnies: Coach Travel Cup: Bubba Keg (similar) |
This Turkish Towel came in June's Pop Sugar Must Have Box and was perfect to throw in my beach tote. I'm really into neon for my nails and toes this summer. Two of my favorites are Down To The Core-al (on my toes) and Juice Bar Hopping (on my nails). What's your favorite choice for a swimsuit cover-up?
