Leopard Print ~ It's Still My Favorite

Leopard print has always been, and probably will always be, my favorite.  It doesn't matter if it's in a shoe, bag, dress, pants or fab topper like this kimono, I'm like a magpie to a shiny object when it comes to anything leopard.  One of these days I'm going to finally convince The Hubs to let me decorate our home with leopard but until then I'll just wear it ~ a lot!  This leopard kimono pairs so well with this ultra comfy terracotta colored maxi dress.  I love styling my maxi's by tying them up to the side.  It's perfect to make them a bit more casual and perfect for short girls like me!

Camo ~ Another Neutral ~ Another Staple

I'm as girly of a girl as you can get but I love camo!  When camo became a hot trend a few years ago I jumped on it hard ~ from tops to jeans and joggers ~ my camo collection is pretty extensive!  I'm glad it's a trend that stuck around.  I'm also glad that camo, like leopard, is considered a neutral and pairs well with most colors, especially brights.  Everyone knows that a denim vest is a closet staple (and if this fact is new to you stop what you are doing, click on the link and get one now!) but I think a camo vest should be as well.  It's a great, versatile completer piece that can be worn year round!

Excuse the face.  I was focusing hard on crossing the street, coffee in hand! ha!

Cheeky Peach

If you read my blog, follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook or just talk to me (ha!) you know how much I LOVE my little town, Athens, Georgia.  You also know how much I LOVE all the fabulous shops and restaurants my little town has to offer!  One of my favorite Athens shops, Cheeky Peach, moved to a new location on Clayton (in Athens, Clayton is the place to be!) and I was invited to attend their private VIP sneak peek the night before they officially opened the doors of their fabulous new space!!  A few days before their move they had a "we're moving so everything in the store is $5" clearance sale at their old location and of course my daughter and I had to hurry down there and take advantage of the amazing opportunity!  I scored $316 worth of stuff ~ dresses, pants, tops and a romper ~ for only $37 and my daughter did about the same!  The dress I wore to the VIP Sneak Peek was one I bought at their moving sale!

Katie, the owner of Cheeky Peach, did an amazing job with every detail of the new space.  From the fabulous pink roll up garage door and the amazing light up Cheeky Peach sign (I'm obsessed) to the exposed brick walls and the on trend and carefully curated fashions hanging on the racks, Cheeky Peach is one awesome shopping experience!!
