I don't know about you but I've been a fan of the
Lacoste crocodile since my teenage years in the 80's when everyone who was someone wore clothing, bags, shoes, belts and hats with the little guy on them. I still remember my first Lacoste purchase ~ a belt ~ that I still have to this day. So I was super excited when Lacoste invited me to attend the grand opening of their Lenox Square Mall location in Atlanta, Georgia on November 21st. (I was excited and my Lacoste loving kids were jealous!) Lacoste is well known for their polo shirts sporting the famous Lacoste crocodile on the chest but they also specialize in other men's and women's clothing, perfume, leather goods, watches, eyewear and footwear. Speaking of footwear, I was sent a really cute pair of Lacoste suede wedge booties and I had a great time styling them with skinny jeans, cream sweater, fur vest and pearls for the event! They are the perfect booties to dress up like I did for a night out or dress down for a weekend of running errands and keeping up with kids. At the grand opening event attendees got to preview and shop all of Lacoste's latest merchandise as well as enjoy sounds by DJ Infamous, complimentary refreshments, a photo booth and contests to win custom kicks by Ed the Artist, a graffiti footwear artist. One of the contests was to post pictures on Instagram or tweet about the event in a certain time frame, and being the social media diva that I am, I won! So this girl got to take home a custom pair of Lacoste kicks designed just for me by Ed the Artist, who is crazy talented and very sweet!
If you haven't shopped Lacoste in a while you should. The quality is as amazing and the clothes and other items are classic and timeless so you will have them forever, like the belt I still have from the 80's!

Keep doing what you're doing. I'm a guy and don't really shop the mall but will have to check this place out after seeing this post. Haven't worn Lacoste in many years. Thanks.
I love that vest! Great freebie!

I love Lacoste too! I'm especially grateful to my super cool parents who kept "vintage" Lacoste from when I was little. I LOVE that sweater with the lace collar!
I'm also in Athens and a blogger! Check out my blog: www.georgiapeachmommy.blogspot.com
