Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration
It's a few days before Thanksgiving and it's time for me to decide what I'm wearing for our holiday festivities. We go to my in-laws for the day ~ which doesn't just involve dinner but also the annual family Christmas picture. Last year I wore leather leggings (my uniform) with a sequin sweater (you can see last year's look here) and this year I'm thinking sequins again ~ but in pants. What is it about the holidays that makes me want to wear sequins? They are just so fun and festive and are so easy to dress up or down. They look just as good with a cashmere sweater as they do with denim. For Thursday I'm thinking a comfy sweater with sequin bottoms, statement shoes and of course, fabulous jewelry!

The Loft Boutique, Cheers to Nine Years Celebration!
Have y'all been wondering where I've been the past few weeks?? To be honest life is getting the best of me right now. The full-time day job is extremely stressful (it takes everything out of me and I've been dealing with severe daily headaches from the stress). My Stella & Dot business (which I LOVE) has been busy (yay!) but it's what I've been dedicating any time I'm not at the day job to so my poor blog has been suffering. This is exactly what I didn't want to happen when my husband lost his job and I had to go back to work full-time. I really thought I could do a good job juggling it all, and I did at first, but it's getting harder and I'm getting overwhelmed. So...all that to say, please stick with me!! I'm hoping I'll be able to do away with the day job soon but until then I promise I'll do the best I can to post when I can. I've got some fun outfit posts coming and a some great collaborations with a few of my favorite brands!! I keep up with my Instagram, so for a daily dose of Mz Savvy Style please follow me over there ;-)! Thanks for listening to my little rant and for understanding!
A few weeks ago I was invited by the lovely ladies of The Loft Boutique in beautiful Hiawassee, Georgia, to attend their "Cheers to Nine Years" birthday celebration and I was happy to attend!! The drive from Athens to Hiawassee took about two hours but it was worth every minute because not only is the store amazing but the drive itself was beautiful!! Fall in the North Georgia mountains is stunning! I convinced The Hubs to be my date (and chauffeur) for the night and he was as impressed with The Loft Boutique as I was! The store is HUGE and full of all the latest in fall fashion, shoes, bags and accessories and the owners and staff are super sweet and so very helpful! I was in shopping heaven! I've got some outfit posts coming soon featuring the fabulous things I picked up on my little trip so stay tuned!
