Leopard Print ~ It's Still My Favorite

Leopard print has always been, and probably will always be, my favorite.  It doesn't matter if it's in a shoe, bag, dress, pants or fab topper like this kimono, I'm like a magpie to a shiny object when it comes to anything leopard.  One of these days I'm going to finally convince The Hubs to let me decorate our home with leopard but until then I'll just wear it ~ a lot!  This leopard kimono pairs so well with this ultra comfy terracotta colored maxi dress.  I love styling my maxi's by tying them up to the side.  It's perfect to make them a bit more casual and perfect for short girls like me!

Color Loving Girl!

I'm all about an all black, white or neutral outfit but I'm a color loving girl at heart and for me the more color the better!  So when this dress hit my styling room a few months back I knew it had to be part of my personal wardrobe.  It has all of my favorite colors in a universally flattering A-line shape AND it has pockets!  I will definitely be styling this bold number several ways this season and I think it will transition well into fall with some knee-hi boots and a leather or denim jacket!

Travel Style with Agora Vintage

Today is part two of my collaboration with my favorite vintage shop, Agora Vintage, and my blogger friend, Hannah Betzel.  Earlier this week Hannah and I shared our wedding looks, styled with fabulous vintage and designer finds from our recent trip to Agora and today we are sharing what we'd wear for travel.  Summer travel for me can mean many different things... our annual beach trip with my family, flying up to Pittsburgh to visit my parents, business travel, girl's weekends with my bestie and mini getaways with The Hubs.  My travel uniform for all of these occasions is pretty much the same... comfy jeans, a lightweight long-sleeved top, wedges or flats that are easy to take on and off, a cross-body bag for my essentials and a roomy tote.  Of course no outfit would be complete without fun jewelry and fab sunnies!

~ What I'm Wearing ~

Theory Tunic: Agora Vintage
Kick Flare Jeans (They are a HOT trend this season!): Gap
Chloe Wedges (OBSESSED!!): Agora Vintage
Aviators: Stella & Dot

Tory Burch Tote (It's SO roomy!!): Agora Vintage
Crossbody Bag: Vera Bradley
Orange Tory Burch Cuff: Agora Vintage
Lippie: NYX "Life's a Beach" (So good for summer!)

What's your travel uniform?  Do you switch it up depending on the travel occasion or have a tried and true go-to like I do?  Make sure to hop on over to Hannah's Blog to check out her travel style!  It's fabulous!

Jingle Bell Frock ~ Retro Christmas

If you've read my blog for long or if you follow me on Instagram then you already know that I love a good jumpsuit.  I believe the little black jumpsuit can replace the little black dress in many instances and can even be a bit more chic because it's unexpected.  So when I was on a recent shopping trip to the Shops Around Lenox looking for the perfect "Jingle Bell Frock", I stopped by American Apparel and I knew this velvet jumpsuit would be the perfect addition to my holiday wardrobe the minute I laid eyes on it!  A black velvet jumpsuit is a little bit retro, a little bit glam and a lot of fun, don't you think?  It's perfect for just about any holiday parties I have on my calendar ~ from Christmas to New Years ~ and would also work for a nice dinner out with the Hubs or even an evening winter wedding.  To give my jumpsuit a Christmas vibe for a recent party I added red plaid pumps, sparkly statement earrings, a long gold necklace and of course, a red lip!  To keep things interesting, instead of carrying the expected black or red clutch I paired my outfit with a camo crossbody bag which I have become obsessed with since I got it at Tootsies during the same shopping trip.

Ladies Who Luxe

Two weeks ago I attended the Spanx Ladies Who Luxe dinner which was held again this year at one of my favorite Atlanta restaurants, St. Cecilia.  Wonderful food, great conversation, awesome company and fabulous fashion made for a perfect night.  As we wined and dined, we Blog Society ladies got to preview the fabulous new line from Spanx.  My favorites?  I loved it all but the moto leggings and girl shorts are at the top of my list.

I planned what I was going to wear to the event the previous night because I was going to be at the day job all day and would be rushing out the door to make it to Atlanta in time.  It ended up being really warm the night of the dinner and I had to change my preplanned outfit choice at the last minute.  I literally through this outfit together.  An easy, quick combo for times like this?  Favorite bottoms and booties, a simple tunic tee and completer piece ~ and of course ~ fabulous accessories!!
