Double Leopard

To me the only thing better than leopard is double leopard!  And when that leopard is in nontraditional leopard colors it makes an outfit really fun!

What I'm Wearing ~
Nail Polish: Revlon Red
Leopard Drapey Soft Pants: Old Navy (They are super comfortable, have pockets (yay!) and come in a few different colors and patterns.)
Thin Knit Tee: Forever 21 (sold out) - Similar Here
Orange Cross-body Bag: T.J.Maxx - Obsessed with this one!
Silver Wedges: Unisa (old) - These are cute option.
Scarf: Gap - LOVE this one by Stella and Dot

I'm starting my summer to fall transition by pulling out the scarves ~ at least the lightweight ones! It's still SO hot here in Georgia!

Love a pop of color with an otherwise neutral outfit (and yes, leopard is a neutral!).

Styling Joggers For Now, Transition and Fall

Earlier this week I shared with you how I styled these joggers for the Girls Day Out event with Star 94 at The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta (if you missed it you can see the post here).  In today's post I'm showing you three ways to style the same joggers ~ for now, for summer to fall transition and for fall/winter.

Striped Tank: Old Navy (on a crazy good sale right now!)
Striped Wedge Sandals: Kate Spade
Leopard Cross-Body (Cross-body bags are perfect for a busy girl on the go!  I love a big bag but cross body's are quickly becoming my go-to bags!): River Island
Striped Camp-Shirt: Calvin Klein
Luxe Joggers: Spend or Save
Pink Cross-Body: Michael Kors
Floral Loafers: ModCloth
Striped Hooded Pullover: Spend or Save
Leopard Wedge Booties (I just ordered these for fall!!): Isaac Mizrahi New York
Red Bag: Isaac Mizrahi New York

(Can you tell besides joggers I'm obsessed with stripes and leopard?!)

If you don't currently own luxe joggers I would highly suggest you get some today!  They will carry you through each season in style and comfort!!

Busy Mom (lady) On The Go

As I've mentioned before, last week I co-hosted a Girls Day Out event for Star 94 and The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta.  Our theme was "take time for you, tips for a busy mom (lady) on the go".  My gorgeous friend, Jennifer Duvall of JennySue Makeup, shared makeup tips on how to look your best when you are in a hurry (and how to stay looking your best in the heat!!  On the day of our event it was blazing hot and we were set up outside, but Jennifer stayed looking fresh and shares her melt-proof makeup tips here.)  I styled two outfits for the event, one from Isaac Mizrahi New York (seen in this post) and one from Saks Off 5th.  I knew going in to my styling day the day before the event that I wanted to do one of the looks around joggers (not the people, the pants!).  Joggers are a way of feeling like you are wearing your pajamas but looking chic, on trend and totally pulled together!

Jennifer, my manikin wearing her busy lady on the go look I styled from Saks Off 5th and me at the Star 94 Girls Day Out event. (You can get Jennifer's look here and here).

What We're Wearing ~
Manikin:
Silk Tapered Joggers: Saks Off 5th (on sale!!)
Loose Fit Striped Top: Michael Kors (Identical)
Floral Cross Body Bag: French Connection (such a great bag for a great price!!)
Me:
Faux Leather Shorts: eBay (similar)
Thin Knit T-Shirt Sweater: Forever 21 (similar)
Black Cage Sandals: BCBGeneration via T.J.Maxx (I have these in white and they are fabulous and on sale!)
Sunnies: Coach

Part of the event's set up including my busy lady on the go styled manikins.

I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing this outfit at the end of the event!  I may be making a trip back to the outlets soon or ordering it online!

What's your favorite stylish on-the-go outfit?  Check back on Friday when I share three ways to style these joggers ~ for now, for transition and for fall.

Not a Minimalist

I was trying to channel Miranda Kerr, who has such amazingly chic, minimalistic style, and copy one of her classic all black looks but I couldn't do it!  I did fine with the leather pants and simple sweater but instead of going basic with my completer pieces like a black pea coat, simple gold jewelry and black pumps I went with a faux fur vest and a necklace and heels both in bold bubblegum pink.  I guess you could say minimalistic is not my style...and I'm OK with that!

Let's talk about these faux leather joggers for a minute.  Y'all, they are the perfect pants!!  Great quality, great fit, so comfy and side pockets!!!  I really want to wear them every day.  Really.  Oh, and they are super affordable.  Like under $25.  And you can style them up or down and on into the spring.  Get some before they are gone and you are sorry.  I may order another pair just in case I DO decide to wear them every day!
