Take Me Out To The Ballgame
This year for the Fourth my family is having a cookout at my in-laws lake house and then heading to the Gwinnett Braves game for some baseball and fireworks!  I'm sooooo excited!!  To me nothing says "Fourth of July" like family, fireworks, burgers and America's sport, baseball!!  My plan is to wear something similar to the outfit above but I may trade out the boyfriend jeans for boyfriend shorts depending on how hot it is!
Distressed Boyfriend Jeans: Blank Denim
Baseball T: Pacific Sunwear
Red and White Polka dot Tennies: Keds
Striped Cross Body: Charlotte Russe (similar)
Flag Ball cap: Diane's Beachwear
Baseball Necklace: Macy's

So what are your 4th of July plans?  Do you know what you're wearing?  I hope I helped give you a little "Fourth Fashion" inspiration!!

Jumpsuits and Red Suede Shoes

As I mentioned before, two of my favorite trends this season are cage sandals and jumpsuits/rompers.  I can't get enough of either one.  Fortunately there are so many cute, affordable options out there that I can indulge in my newest obsession without guilt (and look on-trend doing it!).

Saturday I went to a bridal shower for one of my daughter's best friends and decided to wear this jumpsuit.  The best thing about jumpsuits is the one-piece dressing!  Pull it on, toss on a few accessories and a pair of shoes and you can head out the door.  My daughter had the same idea and wore a cute little black romper I gave her for her birthday a few weeks ago.  By the end of the summer people will be saying, "there go those Herrin girls in their jumpsuits again".  And I'm OK with that!

What I'm Wearing~
Jumpsuit: Forever 21 (It comes in two gorgeous colors...and I have them both!  Sorry I didn't think to get pictures of the back ~ it has a gathered t-back ~ super cute (and you can still wear a bra!)
Red Cage Sandals: Michael Antonio (these too come in several colors)
Turquoise Necklaces: Old, I'm craving this one by Kendra Scott
Bag: Michael Kors (last year's, this one is the current season)
Sorry my hair looks like who'd a thunk it (that was one of my very southern friend, Mandy's favorite sayings!).  I was running super late for the shower after my Saturday long run and pulled my it-takes-an-hour-to-dry wet hair into a knot and it dried kind of funky!)

What Megan's Wearing~
Romper: Forever 21 (this style is sold out in all black but they have it in black with white polka dots and this gorgeous romper comes in black or hot pink)
Wedges: Jessica Simpson (old, but here's a similar option)
Green Bubble Earrings: Entourage (loving these from Kendra Scott)

(I look like I'm waiting for my bag to move or something! haha! Blogger pose problems!)

What do you think of the romper/jumpsuit trend comeback?  If you are unsure I say, "try it, you'll like it!!"

Valentine's Week

Happy Valentine's week!  I love it when a special day falls at the end of the week because you feel like you can celebrate all week long!  One of the ways I love to celebrate holiday's is by dressing for them and this morning in honor of Valentine's week I pulled a week's worth of red and pink Valentine's inspired outfits to wear and share!

Today's outfit is not a "Valentine's only" outfit, you could pretty much wear it any day of the year but with the pops of pink and red it gives a nod to the holiday.  I love how the pink horizontal stripe in the sweater goes with the pink vertical stripe in the shirt and it is all pulled together with the pink pants but the leopard in the shoes makes the whole look more interesting.

And while we are on the subject of Valentine's...have you had a chance to check out my Valentine's Gift Guide I posted last week?  If not you can see it here!

What are you wearing this Valentine's week?  Do you enjoy dressing for the holiday?
